Mount Robson Info Centre
The Mount Robson Park Visitor Centre is located at the Mount Robson Parks western entrance. Mount Robson is the tallest peak in the Rocky Mountains towering 3945m. The Info centre is open from May until October and offers a wide range of services including free WIFI. Mount Robson Provincial Park is the second oldest park in the province and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990. At the heart of this protected area are the headwaters and the first 100 km (60 mi) the largest salmon producing river in the world, the Fraser River.
Where else can you travel between four different vegetation zones in a single day? The trail crosses three biogeoclimatic zones and features spectacular views along the way. Beyond Kinney Lake, make your way into the Valley of a Thousands Falls where you’ll watch the mist, Berg and Robson Glaciers as they break off into the turquoise waters of Berg Lake.
Hiking in Mount Robson Provincial Park is a treat at any time of the year. During the winter time strap on your snow shoes and explore the wonderful trails around Mount Robson. Whether you explore the trails near the Mount Robson Info Centre or hike up to Kinney Lake at Mount Robson there is plenty to do and to explore at any time of the year.
